February 18th Program:

Adapting and Thriving in a Changing TechComm World

with Neil Perlin

Technical communication has changed tremendously in the last few years, and we hear gloomy predictions that the field is dying. Can the field of TechComm rise to overcome new challenges?

Is it dying? or just changing?

And if it is changing, what is it changing into? How do we adapt and thrive in this emerging world? That's the subject of this presentation.

We'll start with a discussion of the core of Technical Communication. Then we'll hear various speakers, both experienced and new, talk about what they do and how their jobs range from traditional to new, but all involving “communication.”

The presentation will end with a discussion on how STC needs to change in order to itself adapt and thrive in a changing world.

Join us on February 18 for this important and relevant program.

NOTE: Due to the multi-speaker format, this program will not be offered as a webinar. Please join us in person!
